Origin story
ok so who even is Swikrit?

Alright, real talk. I get asked this a lot, so let me just tell you the whole story from the very beginning. No fancy intro. No pretending I always had a studio and a MacBook Pro. Just the actual thing.
Chapter 01 · Class 4
It started when I was in class 4. Seriously. I had zero equipment, zero budget, and zero idea what I was doing. All I had was my mom's phone. That's it. Just borrowed her mobile, downloaded some random editing app from the Play Store, and started making vlogs.
Nobody asked me to. Nobody told me to. I just... did it. Something about putting clips together and making them feel like something clicked for me in a way that nothing else really did. I didn't know it was called "video editing" back then. I just knew I loved it.
class 4 me, mom's phone, random app from the store. that was literally the setup. and somehow that was enough to start.

Chapter 02 · Class 8 · The monitor changes everything
Fast forward to class 8. This is where things got real. I went to Kathmandu for an occasion and my Maternal uncle gave me a monitor. Just like that. Took it home, set it up, and suddenly I had a proper screen in front of me.
My dad bought me a CPU to go with it. And just like that I had an actual computer setup at home. Not a gaming PC. Not some crazy build. Just a monitor and a simple CPU. But to me it felt like I had everything.
I went straight to Premiere Pro. Opened Photoshop. Started watching tutorials, breaking things, fixing them, breaking them again. That phase was basically just me alone in my room going absolutely feral learning whatever I could.
"I didn't wait to be ready. I just started and figured it out as I went."
Chapter 03 · Maternal uncle opened the door to the real world
Here's the part that changed the game completely. My Maternal uncle gave me an actual opportunity to work on a real world project. A freelancing project. A real client. Real expectations.
That was terrifying and exciting at the same time. Because suddenly it wasn't just me making stuff for fun in my room. Someone was actually going to see it. Someone was paying for it. That pressure hit different and honestly it made me level up faster than any tutorial ever could.
I learned more from that one real project than from months of just watching YouTube videos. Because when it's real, you figure it out. You have to.
real projects hit different. you stop playing and start actually thinking about what the edit needs to do.

Chapter 04 · Just keep sharpening
After that it was basically just about one thing: keep going. Learn, work, enhance, repeat. Every project taught me something new. Every client pushed me to think differently. I got into After Effects, got deeper into color grading in DaVinci, started caring about sound design in a way I hadn't before.
It wasn't overnight. It was just a lot of late nights, a lot of failed exports, a lot of "okay that didn't work let me try again." But slowly the skills got sharper. The edits got better. The clients got bigger.
From a mom's phone in class 4 to working with brands, creators, and international clients. That's the whole journey right there. No shortcuts, no secret. Just started early, stayed consistent, and kept sharpening.
And honestly the story is still being written. Every edit I do right now is better than the last one. That's all I care about.

Why Great Video Editing Is More Than Just Cutting Clips
Video editing is far more than cutting clips or adding effects. It is the psychology of attention, emotion, and storytelling where every frame, sound, and pacing choice shapes how audiences feel, engage, and remember.
